The holy war of Ibn Saud against the “unfaithful Moslems” in Transjordania, Iraq and Koweit, British mandated territories, has not been officially proclaimed, the Palestine Government stated today in an official statement given to the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here.
The report of the declaration of a holy war by Ibn Saud has not been confirmed, the Government statement declared.
All officers and men of the Transjordanian frontier force who were on leave of absence have been recalled.
Another armored car and a company of the air force left Ramleh for Amman, the capital of Transjordania. A group of troops carrying aeroplanes, each with 20 soldiers, passed here on the way from Egypt to Transjordania. Strong patrols have been stationed along the frontier.
