An example of brotherhood in action will be seen in New York’s fashionable Riverdale section next Friday when the congregation of the Riverdale Temple takes over the parish house of nearby Christ Episcopal Church for its regular services until next June.
The Jewish congregation, which had been meeting for the past five years in a former restaurant, is being “dispossessed” to make room for new home building. Its new quarters will not be ready until June. The temple’s Sunday School will be housed in three nearby schools until the new temple is built.
