Albert Kahn, noted architect who designed some of the most important buildings in America, including the Brooklyn building of the New York Times, has been given the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by the University of Michigan.
Mr. Kahn, until two years ago, was the head of the American engineering forces in Soviet Russia.
