Ludwig Frank, a Jew, was a member of the German Parliament and the leader of the Socialist Party. He was the first German soldier to fall in the World War.
The memoral ceremonies, which will last for two days, will be atteaded by Koehler, the President of Baden; General Daimlia; Ex-Chancellor Wirth; Former President of the German Reischstag, Loeb; and thousands of republicans.
Followers of Adolph Hitler today besmirched the posters announcing the memorial services in honor of Frank. The monument is being carefully guarded by the police in order to protect it against attacks.
