Approximately 1,000 men and women representing synagogues and other organizations in this city and in neighboring communities are expected at the dinner Sunday evening in honor of Rabbi B. L. Levinthal on the occasion of his seventieth birthday anniversary, at the Broadway Hotel here.
Dr. Cyrus Adler, president of the American Jewish Committee; Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America; Rabbi Joseph Konvitz of Newark, president of the Agudath Harabanim; Rabbi Wolf Gold, president of the Mizrachi Organization, will be among the speakers at the dinner.
Judge William M. Lewis, chairman of the arrangements committee, will be toastmaster.
