A new hospital for tuberculosis patients was opened here today ten miles north-west of Jerusalem in a building which served at one time as an Arab military training school.

The hospital was dedicated to the late King Christian of Denmark. The opening ceremony was conducted by Dr. Joseph Burg, Israel’s Minister of Health, and the Minister of Denmark in Israel. The Danish Government and the Jewish community of Denmark have furnished the funds to complete the hospital in which 250 patients will be treated, half of whom will be children. Approximately 100 children are already hospitalized there.
