Charges of Fascism are made against Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, and Beth Moses Hospital, Brooklyn, in a protest sent to Mayor LaGuardia Friday by a number of Jewish groups and workers councils.
The protest came after a rally in Stuyvesant Hall Thursday night at which a resolution was adopted warning the Jews of New York that if they permit the alleged lockouts of hospital workers, “it paves the way for the Jews to be used just as the Jews of Germany.”
The resolution protested “intolerable conditions” and demanded that the hospital workers be reinstated and given the right of collective bargaining.
