Hospitals in Germany are working with fifty percent of their normal staff. A tremendous shortage of qualified medical men, doctors, professors and chemists exists, tonight’s Angriff declares. The Nazi paper added that 518 of the best medical men in Germany had been removed from hospitals because they were Jewish.

While among the lower ranks of the medical profession the proportion of Jews is small and their expulsion was unfelt, the highest Jewish percentage was among the highly qualified leading spirits of German medicine, the Angriff stated. The Nazi newspaper, whose chief editor is Dr. Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda, declared that the proportion of Jews among the clerical staffs of the hospitals was small.
