Erection of Sokolov House, a hostel for travelling newspaper correspondents, named in honor of Dr. Nahum Sokolov, late president of the World Zionist Organization, will be started shortly in Tel Aviv, it was announced here today.
The announcement was made at a meeting marking the tenth anniversary of Dr. Sokolov’s death. The gathering, which was organized by the Hebrew Journalists Association, was attended by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, Mayor Israel Rokach, and Dr. Abraham Granovsky.
