The House Foreign Affairs Committee has voted to boost economic supporting assistance for Israel to $250 million for the next fiscal year, which is $200 million more than the Nixon Administration had asked. The committee also voted to earmark $100 million of the $300 million in foreign military sales credits as a grant and to approve the administration’s request for $250 million in economic aid to Egypt. The committee votes took place Thursday afternoon.
