House Gets Bill to Halt Federal Aid to Colleges Practicing Religious Discrimination

A bill to halt Federal aid, including G.I. benefits, for colleges which practice religious or racial discrimination was introduced in the House yesterday by Rep. Jacob K. Javits of New York. The bill exempts educational institutions certified as religious or denominational.
