The Rivoli Theatre will reopen Wednesday, July 18, with the first local showing at popular prices of Twentieth Century’s “The House of Rothschild,” following its sixteen-week run at the Astor on the two-a-day schedule.
George Arliss is in the leading role as the famous financier, other members of the cast including Loretta Young, Boris Karloff, Robert Young, C. Aubrey Smith, Helen Westley, Florence Arliss, Reginald Owen and Alan Mowbray. Alfred Werker directed the picture from a story by Nunally Johnson, based on the play by George Hembert Westley. It is a United Artists’ release.
