A resolution was introduced in the House of Representatives today, asking President Johnson to call on the Soviet Union to cease discrimination against Jews and others, and noting that “by exploiting religious differences, as in the Middle East.” Moscow is seeking “to attain aggressive foreign policy objectives.” The resolution was offered by Rep. Edward J. Derwinski, Illinois Republican, a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
