Rabbi Louis I. Newman of Temple Rodeph Sholom, New York City, will speak at a youth rally sponsored by the Federation of Jewish Youth Organizations of Hudson County, at the Jewish Community Center of Jersey City next Monday evening. Rabbi Newman, former head of Young Judaea, national Jewish youth organization, will speak on “The Future Outlook for the Jewish Youth,” before representatives of fifty organizations affiliated with the Federation.
The youth rally will be the first project undertaken by the Federation, which is an outgrowth of the “Jewish Youth Night” held by the Jersey City Jewish Community Center last March when Dr. Mordecai Soltes of the Jewish Welfare Board spoke on “The Role of the American Jewish Youth in the New Order.”
