What is threatened to be “the most lavish musical play ever screened” has been announced by Metro for fall production. It will be called “Tiptoes” and is said to be based on an original story by Vicki Baum. The story will deal with the times when the German Imperial Ballet was in its prime. Oscar Hammerstein will write the libretto and screen story.
