Only twenty percent of the estimated 250,000 Hungarian Jews who have been sent to Russia for forced labor at the front survive, it is indicated by the number returning with the Hungarian regiments to which they were attached, it is reported in the London press today.

The report says that thousands of wives and parents of missing Jews are flooding the Hungarian War Ministry with letters asking for information about their husbands and sons. Many of them come from provincial towns to Budapest to seek news concerning the fate of the members of their families, No information, however, is given about Jews sent to the front as slave laborers.
