An open air protest meeting against the execution of Jews in Palestine was held here today at Madison Square Park, attended by a huge crowd. The meeting was sponsored by the American League For a Free Palestine. Speakers included Charles Connolly, publisher of the “Irish Echo,” Prof. John J. Smertenko and others.

Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, chairman of the American Zionist Emergency Council, last night issued a statement in behalf of the entire Zionist movement in the United States, branding the British conduct in Palestine as “organized banditry.”
