Hulda Lasbanska, soprano, will sing a group of Ossip Gabrilowitsch’s songs at concert to be given under the auspices of the American Jewish Physicains’ Committee for the Hebrew University at Carnegie Hall, on Turesday evening, Febraury 27, for the benefit of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Other numbers on the program include Chopin’s “Nocturned in G Major, and Mazurka in B Minor,” and Glazuno’s “Finale from Sonata, Opus 74,” to be played by Mr. Gabrillowitch.
Toscha Seidel will also play a group including Beethoven’s “Romance in G Major,” “Scherzando from the Symphonic Espagnol” by Lalo, and “Cicilienne et Rigaudon” by Francouer-Kreisler. Mr. Seidel will play with Mr. Gabrilowitsch, Brahm’s Sonata for Piano and Violin Opus 108, in D Minor.
