Hitler’s intense struggle for political existence under highly nationalistic policies has received a serious setback as a result of the note on German debts sent Thursday by Secretary of State Cordell Hull.
Observers here believe that as a result of the frank statement by Hull, which has attracted worldwide attention and favorable comment, the Hitler Government will be forced eventually to make drastic changes in many of its policies.
