Human rights in Israel are deteriorating, Israel’s leading civil rights group said. In its annual report issued Monday, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel highlighted unfavorable public attitudes about democracy, unfulfilled government promises to Arab citizens and inconsistences in investigating alleged misbehavior by Israeli soldiers.
