Hundreds of friends and followers of Vladimir Jabotinsky, late Revisionist leader, participated in today’s ceremony of the unveiling of a monument for Jabotinsky on his grave at the New Montefiore cemetery, commemorating the first anniversary of his death. Mrs. Jabotinsky, the widow, and Eri, the son, were present.
A guard of honor, composed of members of the Brith Trumpeldor organization, took part in the ceremony. Pilots of the Jabotinsky flying school, the first Jewish flying school in America, flew in formations over the cemetery, throwing flowers on the grave. The Jewish War Veterans were represented at the ceremony with a delegation carrying the organization banners.
