Hundreds of Danish Jews who were held for 18 months in Terezin during World War II were commemorated in a ceremony at the former Jewish ghetto. A plaque was unveiled Wednesday at one of the buildings where they lived, before they were whisked to safety through the efforts of the wartime Danish king and government and the Swedish Red Cross.
