Hundreds of French Jews marked the anniversary of the 1942 roundup of Parisian Jews, who were then sent to Nazi death camps. Sunday’s ceremony, held at Jewish Martyrs Square in central Paris, took place on the day set aside by the French government in 1993 as a national memorial day for victims of racist and anti-Semitic crimes.
