Several hundred Jewish families are without means of livelihood as a result of the systematic elimination of Jews from the staff of the Creditanstait.
The number of Jewish employes has fallen from forty to sixteen percent and the government is continuing its policy of excluding the Jews.
Jewish employes who have been eliminated have approached Leon de Rothschild for aid, owing to his influence as a representative of the foreign creditors of the institution and have also approached D’Avigdor Goldsmid, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
