Hundreds of neo-Nazis fought Hungarian police over the weekend in clashes that left eight officers injured and more than 30 extremists arrested. With some coming from as far away as England, Germany, Austria and Slovakia, approximately 600 neo-Nazis descended on Budapest for a series of demonstrations. The angry public reaction to the demonstrations prompted the Interior Ministry to call for a revision of the law that permits such events.
