An estimated 200,000 marchers and spectators participated today in Israel’s 30th anniversary celebrations along Fifth Avenue and in Central Park. Three generations of Jews wore buttons with slogans such as “Peace and Shalom” and “I am a Zionist.” Premier Menachem Begin of Israel reviewed the parade and later spoke at the Central Park Mall.
