Stefan Lorant, the Hungarian-born historian best known for his Lincoln researches, said last night that his next book will be on the nature of the Nazi rise to power, because “it can happen again.” Appearing on the nationally syndicated televised “David Frost Show,” Mr. Lorant declined to name any prospective neo-Hitlers, but said that many countries around the world were vulnerable, “even the United States.”
