Charges of treason have been leveled against three members of the Social Democratic Party in Hungary in retaliation for pro-Jewish demonstrations by party representatives in the Hungarian parliament, it was reported here today.
The report says that one of the three is Charles Peyer, the Hungarian deputy who recently demanded that the government publish a list of members of the cabinet and state under-secretaries who have been given land taken from Jews on the pretext that it would be awarded to wounded soldiers returning from the front.
