Peter Hain, Hungarian Gestapo chief, who was found guilty of organizing the deportation of Hungarian Jews to death camps and slave labor gangs, has been hanged.
Hain, who became wealthy from the sale of property seized from the Jews, attempted to delay his execution by feigning lunacy and by faking an attempt at suicide.
