The first libel action based on allegations of Jewish origin was filed here today by Emil Meisner, a member of the Supreme Economic Council, and his brother against the publishers of the Hungarian Jewish Lexicon for stating that their father was of Jewish descent. After the plaintiffs had produced a genealogical tree covering the past century, the Court ordered the defendants to delete the passage from the lexicon.
