Number of Jewish Students to be Further Curtailed in New Bill to be Drafied by Leader of Anti-Semitic Students (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The Hungarian government has yielded to the demand of the anti-Semitic leaders in the present fight concerning the numerus clausus, according to a sensational report published today in the Budapest press.

According to this report Count Klebelsberg. Minister of Education, consented to intrust Count Teleki, leader of the undergraduate body opposing the removal of the restrictions on the number of Jewish students, with the redrafting of the bill for the modification of the numerus clausus, it being understood that the new bill will be even more stringent in curtailing the number of Jewish students to be admitted to the universities.

Reports from other cities state that the Hungarian students are boycotting the colleges and that practically no lectures are being given. Part of the Jewish student body are attending the classes.
