The Jews of Hungary today commemorated the fifth anniversary of the execution of Channa Szenes, Jewish heroine from Palestine who was executed by the pro-Nazi regime after she had parachuted behind the enemy lines during the war on an Allied mission and had been captured. Representatives of the Israel legation and many Jewish groups and Chief Rabbi I. Hershkovits attended the services.
