The local police are investigating the desecration of a Jewish cemetery in the Danube Valley town of Dunaharaszti where many tombstones were overturned and smashed.
The crime was discovered over the week-end. It is believed that the attack was carried out by Volksdeutsche facing expatriation from the town which was once an important Nazi center in Hungary.
