Premier Koloman Daranyi upheld in Parliament today the right of newspapers and individuals to criticize the Nazi regime in Germany.

Replying to an interpellation by Count Festetic demanding that attacks on Germany be suppressed, Mr. Daranyi declared:

“It is not desirable to criticize the political system of other states, but criticisms do not violate the Hungarian laws and the Government does not have the right to take proceedings.”
