The Federation of Hungarian Jews in the United States today made public the text of a message received from President Zoltan Tildy of Hungary, stating that ” the democratic Hungarian Government will do every thing to uproot the goods of anti-Semitism” in the country.
The message informed the Federation that a law has been presented by the government to the National Assembly, which provides compensation to Jews “for all the humiliations and persecutions they suffered from the Nazi barbarians.”
