The Hungarian Official Gazette reaching here today publishes a decree withdrawing the licenses of Jewish drug stores.
At a session of the Hungarian parliament this week Premier Nicholas von Kallay was asked how he planned to solve the Jewish problem in the country. The Premier is reported to have replied: “The Jewish question must be dealt with in gradual stages in order to avoid undesirable complications in our economic system. While the Jewish problem in Hungary is primarily a matter of principle, it consists of a number of questions which will be settled with the solution of the entire problem.”
