Hungary-israel Trade Pact Involving Annual Exchange of $10,000,000 in Goods Signe

A trade agreement was signed yesterday between Hungary and Israel, providing for the exchange of goods valued annually at the equivalent of $10,000,000, it, was announced here today. The pact also stipulates that Israel-bound Hungarian Jewish immigrants will be permitted to transfer funds to the Jewish state.

The chief exports from here to Israel will consist of food, fodder and various chemicals in exchange for which Hungary will import citrus products, textiles and wool yarn. The agreement was signed on behalf of Israel by Dr. T.M. Kinory, head of a trade delegation from Tel Aviv, and by Sandor Ronai, Hungarian Minister of Commerce.
