Undesirable residents may at any time be expelled from Hungarian soil, by a Government ordinance promulgated today. The ordinance, known as the Defense of the State Law was adopted in face of strong opposition by liberal deputies. The Christian Nationalist Deputies, however, expressed great pleasure over the passage of this law which, they declared, was intended primarily to exclude “Jews and wprlers”, thereby ensuring that the approaching elections will not be influenced by either of these elements.
