Hungary will seek to tighten the bonds of friendship and collaboration with Germany and Italy, Premier Koloman Daranyi declared in a speech in the Chamber of Deputies today in which he outlined the new cabinet’s program, the Havas News Agency reported.
He added that Hungary will follow the same foreign affairs groove it has adhered to up till now.
The Hungarian policy will not be directed against any particular nation or group of nations and will aim at general reconciliation and friendship. Budapest desires the amity of Great Britain and France, he said.
The Premier declared Hungary is particularly interested in the question of minorities. “The League of Nations is not equal to this task,” he commented.
