Hungary’s Jewish leaders say they will seek to have treasures stolen by the Nazis and later taken by U.S. troops returned to their rightful owners. Their comments came last Friday, one day after a U.S. presidential commission on Holocaust-era assets said property looted from Hungarian Jews by the Nazis was seized by American forces and subsequently taken by generals and soldiers in the U.S. Army.
