Hyman Crystal, 63. executive director of B’nai B’rith District Six, which embraces eight Midwestern states and three Canadian provinces, died Friday in Lutheran General Hospital. Chicago, B’nai B’rith general headquarters announced here. Mr. Crystal, who was born in Alberta, Canada, and became a naturalized U.S. citizen, joined the B’nai B’rith staff 23 years ago. In 1950 he was named director of the Detroit council and in 1966 he went to Chicago to become area director there. Three years later he was named district director with headquarters in Chicago.
