A three-day conference to study uses of law and legislation in the work of combatting anti-Semitism opens here tomorrow under be auspices of the National Community Relations Advisory Council. More than 75 social scientists, scholars, lawyers, Jewish community relations professionals and Jewish community leaders are attending the parley.
The conference is the third in a series that is being held under NCRAC auspices in a continuing re-examination of the needs, programs and methods of Jewish community relations work. The purpose of the conference is to develop recommendations hat will stand as guides to the national and local Jewish community relations agencies and to the committees of the NCRAC that continuously plan joint programs and coordinate the work of the agencies.
The NCRAC is the joint planning and coordinating body for the American Jewish Congress, Jewish Labor Committee, Jewish War Veterans of the U.S., Union of American Hebrew Congregations of America, the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America and the United Synagogue of America; and for local, state and regional Jewish community relations agencies.
