David Dubinsky, president of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, today presented a check for $25, 000 on behalf of the Union for aid to Rumanian Jews coming to Israel.
The check was presented to the Jewish Labor Committee for transmission to the United Jewish Appeal. Mr. Dubinsky also announced that the ILGWU would collect $100, 000 among members in shops for the settlement of Rumanian Jewish immigrants.
