The B’nai B’rith Lodge of Lancaster and the Jewish Community at large will be hosts to the convention of District Grand Lodge No. 3 I.O.B.B., which will convene in this city May 24 to May 26. Delegates will come from more than fifty lodges in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia. A large attendance of delegates and prominent communal leaders are expected to attend the convention. Abraham Berkowitz, assistant district attorney of Philadelphia, is the president of the District Grand Lodge No. 3. Dr. Harry Elins is president of Lancaster Lodge No. 228, one of the oldest lodges in the state of Pennsylvania and Capt. Joseph Goldberg is the chairman of the convention committee.
