The fifty-eighth annual convention of District Grand Lodge No. 6 of the Independent Order B’nai Brith will be opened here on Sunday.
Over two hundred delegates are expected from the states comprising the district which includes Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Manitoba, Ontario and Alberta, Canada.
The convention will be in session until July 7.
The guests of honor who are scheduled to deliver addresses during the sessions are: Adolph Kraus, of Chicago, venerable past president of the Constitutional Grand Lodge of the Order; Dr. Boris Bogen, of Cincinnati, secretary of the Constitutional Grand Lodge; Rabbi Benjamin Frankel, of Peoria, I11., executive director of the Hillel Foundations, and Rabbi C. H. Kauvor, of Denver, Col.
The local convention committee is headed by Max Breslauer.
