Ibn Saud, ruler and religious head of the Wahabis on the Arabian Peninsula, long time enemy of King Hussein, has publicly protested in a declaration the assumption of the Caliphate by Hussein. The declaration of the Sultan was published in the press of India.
Ibn Saud demands that a world congress of the Moslems should be convened for the purpose of deciding the question of the Caliphate succession.
It will be recalled that Ibn Saud himself has made claim to the Caliphate on the ground of his ancestral connection with Mohammed.
