Ica and Emigdirekt Join Efforts in Immigrant Aid

Cooperation between the Emigdirekt, the Jewish emigrant aid society, and the Jewish Colonization Association, to aid Jewish emigrants through the establishment of an emigrant trust bank was endorsed by the Council of the Emigdirekt in session here.

The Council ratified the negotiations carried on by Dr. James Bernstein and Dr. Myron Krainin with the Ica and has authorized them to proceed with the negotiations, as well as to inaugurate the work of assisting the relatives of American Jews to settle in Palestine.
