An Ideal Home Exhibition, including exhibits of present day Palestinian town planning and architecture, will be a new feature in the Near East Exhibition and Fair in the fall, arranged by the Judea Industrial Corporation, an American Jewish company. The exhibition will be opened in September and will contain models of rural and urban ideal homes, building materials, building machinery, builders’ requisites, building implements and fittings, interior decorations, including radio sets and electric appliances. Home gardening is to be included in the exhibition.
The Near East Exhibition and Fair this fall will be greatly increased, modelled after the fairs of Novgorod and Leipsig and will direct particular attention to the products of Palestine industries. This is particularly important at present under the depressed economic conditions when the imports into the country are greater than the exports.
The assistance of the Palestine government, the municipality of Tel Aviv and the Zionist Executive in Palestine were assured for the Fair.
