If elected president, Texas Gov. George W. Bush would send troops to the Golan Heights as part of a monitoring force, according to an adviser to the Bush campaign. “If all parties feel it’s essential, no doubt he would do it,” former Secretary of State George Shultz also told a group of Jewish journalists in a conference call.
