The notorious war criminal Ilse Koch, whose life term was commuted by U.S. authorities to four years’ imprisonment and who was later arrested by the Bavarian police, will not be tried by provincial authorities before March, 1950, Bavarian Prosecutor H. Jagomast announced.
At Bonn, meanwhile, the police are investigating anonymous anti-Semitic letters sent to members of the Bonn legislature. Officials of the new West German government, including president Dr. Theodor House and Chancellor Karl Adenauer, are labelled traitors and “servants of the Jews” in the letters which also call for action against these “slaves of world Jewry.”
